You are a Masterpiece!

 

Eph.2.10 - For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. NLT

 

The journey of every human on this terrestrial ball has been planned by God every inch of the way. Getting to God's desired destinations for our life however require our willingness to follow the Master's roadmap. If we follow God's guide, we sure won't miss the way.

If we choose to cruise through some short routes, following our natural inclinations, then destiny-mishap is guaranteed.

A masterpiece is a tool or instrument in the hand of professional artist or a trained specialist which by default is used to carry out certain operations. God designed each and every one of us to function in particular ways to meet the need of his operations in the garden of His universe and eternity. If we fail to carry out our assignments as instruments, then we have failed purpose and our maker.

Birds were created to fly and add beauty to the stretched out firmaments. Any bird that's not doing this has failed destiny. I don't know about you, I get jealous seeing them fly. Don't you feel like jumping into the sea whenever you see fish diving in the oceans? Oh... I do. But you know what, that is their natural habitat and they swim without struggle. Not so easy for man. Isn't it?

God designed prophet Jeremiah to be His mouthpiece for the recalcitrant children of Israel. Jer.1.5 says “I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world." NLT. If Jeremiah had gone on to become a very renowned politician, and rose to deputize any of the Kings of his era, he would have failed the Master's purpose for his life. If Peter had continue his fishing business, he couldn't have been reckon with in God's scheme of things. I leave you to imagine what would have become of guys like Leonel Messi and Tiger wood, if they had chosen to become gulf player and footballer respectively. Life would have become a big burden! Everyman has his natural habitat where they are meant to function optimally. Take a fish out of water. It’s as good as dead.

Parents ought to pray to God to open their eyes to what the children purposes are, in order to be able to guide to achieving greatness in life. If you don't agree with me, ask Ben Carson's mother, though confused, but also a praying mother with so much faith. You can imagine the joy and smile on Jacob's face when he walked into Egypt and found his son was the prime minister.  

We are created in God's image to be creators of things and news makers on earth. Not spectators! Every man who has ever walk the earth carries that gene of a maker, a creator, a masterpiece. But only very few achieve the true masterpiece status while on earth. No wonder Dr. Myles Munroe once said the richest place on planet earth is not the central bank of any nation, but the graveyards. In the graveyards of this world are songs that were never rhymed, great prophets and pastors the world never known, kings and queens who never ascend the thrones, companies that were never incorporated, inventions that never see the light of the day and so many aborted destinies and dreams. 

Just like God the greatest hunter who's got so many arrows in His quiver shot Joseph into Egypt, to guide that ancient city out famine that would have consumed the entire nation, he has shot you into that family, church, relationship, and nation to become a solution provider, a panacea. May God open our eyes into what He has called us to accomplish before we bid farewell to this world.
